50 Thousand Rupiah....

Guys, imagine you have a spare 50 thousand rupiah bill lying around, what would you use it for? Will you use it to fill your stomach, watch a movie, or even spend it on some small items....

You will then somehow realize, the satisfaction you get from spending that 50 thousand rupiahs will probably be a temporary one and it will only last as long as the burning of a matchstick.

Yet you probably do not realize that although 50 thousand rupiahs on its own will not produce any miracles, the same amount gathered from people all over coupled with God's grace will help to deliver more people into his hands by enriching them not directly with money but with lessons. Lessons that will enable them to become a fisherman who can catch fishes on his own rather than being a person fed with fish.

We on our part will use the collected funds to nurture business talents so that they can transform their lives into a totally new level. In the future, these young men and women will give back more into the Christian society not only in monetary terms but as witnesses to the grace of our God.

Who we are and our mission

We are GBI Gadjah Mada, one of the church from Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI, Indonesian Bethel Church Organisation), located at Grand Gadjah Mada Shopping Centre where we hold our weekly Sunday service.

Our aim of setting up this trust fund is to help less privileged Christians who have viable business proposals so that they may use it to realize their dreams of setting up their own business.

Each person may only offer us 50,000 RP and nothing more as we are not asking for donations but goodwill from people who wants to see our Christian community in Indonesia grow and one of the ways is to prosper our congregation.

Everything that we receive and loan out will be recorded for anyone who wants to view the records so that this whole process will be transparent for everyone to see.
